CONTEXT

​For the Hyper-Cut project, I researched various images of abstract sculptures that consisted of fluid shapes and waves as well as more structured shapes. This research influenced the moulage and sampling of 3D shapes and creative cut techniques on the stand. From this moulage as well as accompanying evaluation and sketches in my creative journal, a final garment was developed and sustainably made in end-of-roll fabrics and components.

From this final garment, more creative stand work and exploration was carried out accompanied by a fabric board, a mood board and trend research. This ultimately drove the formation of detailed development ideas from which I created my final collection line-up.
